Accommodation

Media representatives must pay their transportation, living and accommodation expenses. Media representatives who wish to stay at the Fairmont Royal York should note that a number of rooms are available, at your own expense, under the following reference code: MNCH Summit, or reserve online. To take advantage of the preferred rate, media representatives are asked to reserve before May 11, 2014.

Accreditation

Reporters, operators and technicians covering Summit activities will receive “Media” accreditation. To be accredited, they must complete the online media accreditation form. The accreditation site will be open starting May 5.

Accreditation requests must be received before May 23, 2014. After that date, requests may be denied. Media accreditation will allow access to the media centre and media activities. However, some events will be accessible only through restricted pool coverage.

Media accreditation cards may be retrieved in the Algonquin Room at the Fairmont Royal York on May 27 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., and from May 28 to 30 starting at 8:30 a.m. daily.

Media Centre

The Summit will give media representatives access to a media centre equipped with Wi Fi wireless Internet access.

Media Centre hours:

  • May 28: 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • May 29: 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • May 30: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Photos

A host photographer will take photographs of official events and Summit participants, and will make them available to the media, royalty-free.
